Body Psychotherapy, Core Process Psychotherapy, Craniosacral Therapy
In my work as a psychotherapist I include embodied experience as essential to the enquiry into whatever conditions we are struggling with. However fragmented or lost we may feel there is always underlying wholeness that we can connect with to support us in our difficulties. Understanding how we may have lost relationship with this and reconnecting with it is at the heart of my work.
My work is also deeply informed by the understanding that our experiences in the womb and during birth are formative in our development as human beings. In my craniosacral practice I work mainly with babies and children to help resolve prenatal and birth trauma. In my experience this is often at the root of many of the physical, emotional and behavioural difficulties that babies and children struggle with.
