Dramatherapist and CounsellorI support Adults to work creatively and therapeutically through emotional difficulties they may be experiencing and need support with. These might be experiences of loss, low self confidence, a need for support with change, relationship break up, anxiety, depression, post natal depression and difficulties with parenting. This starts with a empathetic listening and a space for you to talk. In our exploration of your feelings we can also incorporate the use of movement, art, projection onto objects, theatre skills and stories in the therapeutic process. We can also draw from my experience as a yoga teacher to find ways of calming the mind and help you to develop strategies for self-care. Children, Adolescents and Young PeopleI offer creative emotional support to children and young people. They may be needing support with their emotions, family matters, self-confidence, depression, anxiety, school, attachment difficulties, those experiencing or at risk of school exclusion, emotional and behavioural difficulties, withdrawal, loss, aggression or parental conflict. Through my work as a Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapist I can offer support for families with fostered or adopted children or children/ adolescents with attachment difficulties. I have supported families fostering children. I also provide regular individual yoga sessions to children with special needs. I was trained at Special Yoga Limited, ‘Special Yoga for the Special Child’ www.specialyoga.org.uk
