I am an integrative counsellor with experience of working with people in counselling, social service, health, education and voluntary organisations. Some of the areas in which I have experience include: abuse, addiction, disability, life threatening illnesses, bereavement, mental health, relationship problems, sexual issues, stress and depression, major life change and transition and the day to day challenges facing families and individuals.
Having worked as a tutor, lecturer and Programme Coordinator in counselling at higher education level, I have considerable experience of working with young adults and mature students in both an academic and counselling capacity. My research work includes a study of experiences following bereavement and student experiences of counselling in education.
