Psychosexual therapy and relationship counselling
For some couples, relationship difficulties may be recent and specific – perhaps associated with a particular incident or life event. For others, the problems may be more general and long term. Whatever the situation, I work with couples and individuals, to explore patterns and causes and to identify strategies that will help facilitate change. Sometimes sexual problems are part of the difficulty within couple relationships. For this reason, I offer sex therapy either as part of relationship counselling or as a separate therapy for individuals or couples. Sex therapy typically involves a series of gentle, negotiated activities to be done alone or with your partner, in the privacy of your own home. It does not involve any physical contact or activity within therapy sessions themselves. Sex therapy can be effective in helping with a wide range of sexual difficulties. These include: • Difficulty in getting or keeping an erection (erectile dysfunction or ED) |
